I always enjoyed his pics and threads at the end of the season. That video was less than impressive though. His calling was pretty bad and a fan killed all those birds. I guess I expected a little something different

Re: Strut Commander
I’m thinking it’s more like fun footage than actual let’s get the best quality video we can make. I think it’s just the two of them on that tripcrenshawco wrote: ↑July 6th, 2018, 10:53 pm I always enjoyed his pics and threads at the end of the season. That video was less than impressive though. Re: Strut Commander
Mike's one of my best friends he's also a huge part of me being alive but he's also a straight up killer. The very first night I met Mike I was sitting in a hotel with he and Larry shockey and they asked me "if I had the hate". Mike hates turkeys in the spring and will use any legal means to kill limits. He leaves early March, sleeps in his Tacoma alot of nights chasing spring. When he met us in tx few years ago he had slept in his truck fourteen days in a row without a shower.
If you knew how many birds he watches die in a year through guiding, filming and on his own, you'd fall over backwards. He is the total package, you doubt his calling? Have you ever shared a tree with him? It's the most realistic I've heard and that's with sitting front row of gncc multiple times. It would probably not score, but it's flat turkey. As for the vocalization, I've heard him do it before, not sure what it is, but if you spend as many days a field as Mike, you pick up on different stuff.
In an industry of arrogance he is extremely humble. Everyone refers to him as the "turkey killer" even the biggest names. He's probably the best guide in the industry.
He came here last year and tagged out right quick self filmed. I loathe fanning, but guiding this spring, you bet your azz I was carrying a fan. When your making money guiding or filming you pull out all the stops. One things for certain Mike kill limits anywhere without a fan, he's a machine.

I hate seeing one hunter cut another down for their style of hunting, if it's legal and ethical what damn difference does it make. Guys, we are all in this together. I don't use decoys, don't use blinds, don't use fans but if there was a certain turkey that I wanted to kill and couldn't kill it the way I hunt, don't think for one minute I wouldn't use any of the above to kill it. I don't go out there for exercise, if I just wanted exercise I'd just go to the gym.

Re: Strut Commander
Judging by all the mojo that's probably a gimmick they have to use !
