Day 18 of the 2019 Ohio Squirrel Season

I was ready to go in the woods behind the house at 03:00 with the temp at81, sunny,
& a breeze that made it pleasant in the woods. The drive lane parallels the creek
part way back & I “flushed” A Great Blue Heron. I had the 4-wheeler hitting 20 MPH
& it was pulling away. It really did shake a tail feather, baby!!

At 04:20, I walked back to the pond &, almost immediately, a fox walked along the
bank. It saw me before I saw it & did shake a tail on the way out.

I sat back down at 05:00 & headed in at 06:00 with the temp at 80, still sunny, but
no breeze.
