I mean, that's the only way I can explain it. That thing shining in the sun was flaring birds before they even got on the field. Never seen anything like it!

Not a joke and not the only one. Both were on the same flight line. For some reason those fellas left the shoot a little earlier than most. Maybe it was because the birds weren't flying over them even though they should have been on a good line. :roll:

I don't think they could see the birds turning back over the trees due to not being able to see through their canopies. I did see one trying to hide behind the opposite side of his canopy when birds tried to escape off the field from the other direction. 'course #7.5s won't get them when they flare to the stratosphere :lol:
