Athens Revelation 6

Post by hoobilly » August 24th, 2017, 8:04 pm

Just went and picked up my new 2017 Athens Revelation 6 today

was able to shoot it at Athens to get a feel for it and see how I like the 26.5" draw length

Set at 70 lbs... this is the smoothest 70lb bow I think Athens has made so far. And thats saying something..

They keep getting better and better

I used Jason Ewells really long TruBall release and grazed my arm a fuzz.
With my Scott release I am thinking its gonna fit me perfect for whitetail. Not sure if it will be perfect for late bow season when its cold and I am trying to kill a winter turkey.. so I may have to have my draw length dropped to 26. We will see

heres a link on the Rev6 https://athensarchery.com/product/revelation/ You will probably have to click on the pictures to view them right side up.

Nice looking rig. Is the 26.5" your normal draw length?

26 is what I have shot in the past..

but from testing the cams earlier this summer I wanted to try the 26.5 and see how I like it. Once its set up and dialed in I will know if I need to drop it down the half inch or not.
