I decided this morning at about 10:30am that I was getting out of the house and going to do some calling.
On the very first stand I started out with Adult Rat Distress and after about 3 minutes I saw movement to my right. It was a bobcat sneaking in!
The bobcat stopped about 30 yards away and wouldn't budge.

The bobcat stayed right there for at least 5 minutes and then took off. No coyotes showed up on the first stand.
On my fourth stand I had Nutty Nut Hatch playing on full volume at around 8 minutes into the stand. I saw a coyote come over a ridge to my left and it was heading my way.

As this coyote got closer it started climbing the hill to get on the downwind side of my Fpxpro.

I took a few more pictures and then set down my camera and picked up my shotgun and shot this coyote to my left about 25 yards away. When I looked back to my right towards my Foxpro I saw a coyote just going out of sight right in front of the Foxpro.
I am pretty sure the whole time I was taking pictures of the first coyote there was another coyote with it but I couldn't see it through my camera.

The 12 ga 3-1/2" 1-7/8 oz load of HW13 BB shot hammered this coyote at about 25 yards.
On my last stand of the day I made a stand about 1/4 of a mile away from where the rancher said he was seeing a coyote almost every day.
On this stand I used my 22-250 and was laying prone with my Foxpro about 50 yards away. I played some rabbit sounds for around ten minutes.
Then I played Female Coyote Sore Howls for about one minute. After a few minutes of silence I played Coyote Pair one time through and muted my Foxpro.
There was 4 or 5 cows and a few calves about 400 yards away from me on a ridge during this stand. While I was laying there not playing any sound I saw what looked like a light colored calf in the middle of the black cows and calves.
I looked through my scope and saw that it was a light colored coyote and the short green grass made it look even lighter colored.
While I was looking at the coyote through my scope I switched to my pre-set #2 sound which is Coyote Pup Distress 3 on full volume. As soon as this coyote heard Pup Distress 3 it started running towards my Foxpro.
I muted the sound when the coyote was about 150 yards away, the coyote kept running towards my Foxpro so I woofed at him two times and he finally stopped at about 100 yards away.
My 22-250 put him down hard.
