Rocky Rattler zipper on the side, lace boots. Second pair although still have the first. Wore out the leather in a crease on the first but still usable. The second pair lost waterproofness after two years, but reconditioned with spray on conditioner and haven't leaked since. Heckuva boot for the money.

In the fall and until it snows over a couple of inches, I wear LL Bean "Snow Sneakers", velcro closure strips
and some insulation for maybe around zero, the come off and on easy with the velcro as I trap and it makes it easy to slip out and put on the "Muck" boots" and back to the LL Beans when needed.
