I've got an Alps rendezvous but I hardly ever take it out of the truck. It crimps my style. Not sure what it weighs though.

If I remember my research, Cabela's Gobbler Lounger is 5.9# and the lightest of the "bag" style chairs.

They're all too heavy to be practical to me. I'll sit in my bucklick creek style vest as long as anybody I know, and it's a fraction of the weight. I also hate toting decoys so maybe it's just me

Walmarts and bass pros were right below 6 pounds years ago. Academy's chair is the most comfortable I've ever sat but it just shy of 10 pounds.

I've used the gobbler lounger for years now, but I have found myself leaving it behind the last two weekends. It is a good seat and comfortable, but both times I have had birds roosted and wanted to get in close as quietly as possible. Inevitably, that chair is going to make more noise than me just softly sitting by a tree.

Same goes for the vest. It's been on the side by side the last two weekends.
