Combat Wipes

Post by GLS »

When you positively, absolutely need to go....
I field tested them this afternoon in the woods while mushrooming. Beats cutting off a shirttail or using a glove.
I got mine from Amazon, but I see where Target has them, too.

Our chanterelles in WNC came really early this year. It was all over but the crying in early July. They came in mid June.

Baby wipes at Walmart are .99 for 50, and work well. 10.00 for 25 is a lil much.

You gotta admit "Combat Wipes" sounds a little tougher than "Baby Wipes." ;) The 8" x 7" size is handier, too.
These will be used for special occasions--daily devotionals during the early hours of spring season.

I've tried the "moist wipes" from Kroger and the small size (7" x 5") is touch and go if you know what I mean. ;)

Spur, we have flushes of chants from early June through September depending on rainfall. Gil

Different than baby wipes somehow? I never knew how amazing baby wipes are until we had kids. The youngest is seven and we still have a case come to the house once per month for general purposes. I keep the biodegradable baby wipes in the truck all the time. Lysol wipes, too, but that's another story.

During turkey season, I put a stack of baby wipes in a ziploc. They ride in a cargo pocket.

Found a good chants spot on the new club. I picked about half and filled up a plastic grocery bag. Had 'em plain, in eggs, and beef burgundy. Just thinking about it makes me want to go back!
