I use a pump most of the time but really don't have a preference as long as I have a good killing pattern at 35-40 yards.

I don't really have a preference, but all my turkey guns are pumps...their ratio of function-to-price probably being the biggest reason.

AMEN to that. I bought a new gun this year and I bought a 870 pump cause the price made me smile. I could afford it. Later I put a nikon scope on it and I'm still less money than the high end guns all the TV superstars hunt with.

Don't matter to me, but as I get older, and eyesight goes, looking for a 12 shot fully automatic.

all the above...

I have a few different guns and enjoy them all.

If I was to take one hunting more than the others, they may get jealous and not shoot so good for me.

I've always gone with a pump, mainly because of their cost. Realistically you're probably only gonna get one shot at a bird!

I used an O/U for many years, but now I prefer a semi-auto.

Semi-automatic gas action; my preference is a 3 1/2" Browning Gold.

If not a semi-automatic, an O/U would be my choice since you do not have to cycle for a quick follow-up shot. 8-)

I like a pump. I grew up hunting pheasants with a Winchester Model 12.

Semi-Auto for me, I use the same gun for ducks and general hunting with a barrel swap and minor mods.
