MOLLE vest, opinions.

Post by drew23 »

Alright I finally put together some MOLLE stuff to make my own vest. I like it because everything can be placed where I want it and can be as much (too much) or as little as I want.

Going to swap snaps out for magnets or buckles for easier use and silence.

Still need a cushion or a gobbler lounger type chair.

Most of this stuff can be bought at Military Surplus stores or online.

I used the following;

Fighting Load Carrier Zip. version(vest)
Canteen/All purp. (canteen, gloves, misc)
MBITR radio pouch. (Box calls)
Grenade Pouch (pot call, mouth calls, misc)
Condor Tact. Admin pouch (strikers)

Pretty slick. The preparation and tinkering
With my stuff just adds to the excitement
For myself.
Neat idea.
I would look into a wheel barrow inner tube.
Most comfortable seat you can buy.
I have a Beard Buster inner tube seat I like a lot.

Saw some mention of the inner tube. May have to look for one tomorrow. Thanks

Tackleberry! That's a pretty nifty idea, I think you did a good job with it. Very cool.
You need more strikers though. ;)

Can you take a selfie with it on. Want to see where everything carries on you.

There are no numbers on any of my clocks below 8. Then all of a sudden, 2 days before turkey season they appear. Then right after the season they disappear.
What's up with that

Another version with a USAF ( I think) survival vest. Full back no straps. More MOLLE loops. Going to set the first one up for my boy.
