I do B... but then I can get antsy and resort to A and then move. bumping the gobbler.

then I come back in a few days and do it again

I would go with A and B. There have been times when I haven't done my homework and I sneak in where I have been around turkeys in the past. Usually the areas I know where birds roost are pretty long hikes and/or sometimes I combat a lot of water. That being said, I usually can get to one central location and listen and make my move from there.
