A.D.D. But I actually think it works to my advantage most of the time. It seems to force me to react instead of think, which isn't always a bad thing when turkey hunting

I cannot stop letting the turkeys get as close to me as possible...even during scouting...I have to get to get every last gobble, cluck, purr I can get, my goal for this year is to not let them get closer than ten yards, lol...baby steps, lol.

Never can seem to keep the heart rate down when the turkey is gobbling within 50 yards. Don't know if I want to fix that part either.

I like to hear myself call! :D With that, I sometimes try to make things happen, instead of letting them happen.

X2, I do the same

I also will not wait on a gobbler for long periods. I cant wait one out for more than an hour or so if they arent actively working. Id rather leave and try to get on a different bird, then double back later to give the original bird another chance.

Deciding when it's time to move, move again, or leave his wrinkley butt alone. The odds of me killing a bird after messing with him for more than an hour or two diminish considerably.

I thought of another one. I have a hard time leaving a turkey alone. If I know he's there, I have a hard time going somewhere else until he's dead. It just eats at me.

My problem is shooting as soon as I know they are in range and not waiting to enjoy the show a bit.

without a doubt....my hearing

I have to wear walkers game ears to hear the gobble at a distance. Because of this, I make the mistake thinking the gobbler is further away than he really is... takes a bump before I calm down and realize yet again they are closer than I think.

I tend to call too much - sometimes because of boredom but mainly because I just like to use my calls.

My hearing sucks thanks to an RPG hit 8 feet behind me. My right ear rings all the time and all sound disappears. Same as getting water in your ear. :|

Lack of sleep the night before because I'm too excited of the plan I will make in the morning.

I call too much sometimes. OCD

I'm often times too cautious. I hate to bust a turkey off the roost, and I'm usually not aggressive enough in trying to get as close as I can, both with birds still on the roost and those on the ground. I know this cost me a couple of turkeys last year. I lost out on the last hunt of the season last year in KY because I was afraid to go the last 20 yards that I knew I needed. I needed to get in range of a fence corner, but I was afraid the turkey would see me and stopped short. Sure enough, I called him to the fence corner and that was as far as he was coming. My gun woulda killed him at 67 yards, but that was just too far. If he had been 47, I'd have brought him back to AL.

Don't forget setting up on gobbling Jakes, because Jakes don't gobble in Florida

I don't have any GLARING weakness Turkey hunting. It's more of a uniform suck across the board. How I've killed all these birds is a mystery to me, except I am persistent in finding the dumber ones to kill

In my case not enough time in the field (but it is one way 6 hours + to hunt) to learn their habits. I watch videos but that is not the same as real field time, so cramming a week hunt into two or three days. But it is fun and healthy.
