Computer question
Computer question
I would like to get my lady on here, but we have only one computer. How hard is it to run separate IP's on the same computer?
Re: Computer question
Jay- the only way it can be done is if the computer you're using is running dual NIC cards (Network Interface Card) which it probably is not. Maybe stinky can confirm/deny? But I'm 99% sure.

Re: Computer question
Who's your provider? Mediacom or Qwest (CenturyLink, or whatever they're called now)?
Re: Computer question
Jay, You can sign up your Girl on here. All she needs is her own email address.
Re: Computer question
Yea get her on...We can use a little shot of estrogen to water down the testosterone.....hmmm or is it the other way around?

Re: Computer question
So, I'm with hotmail, and I can have her register with them to get her also an email address without causing problems with my system? She doesn't have an email address because she uses her computer at work.Gobbler wrote:Jay, You can sign up your Girl on here. All she needs is her own email address.
Re: Computer question
Yes. Get her an email address on hotmail or gmail or free aol. then let her sign up. If there is a problem I'll get Rick to make it work.
But there won't be.

Re: Computer question
I would discourage anything AOL.. It takes over your computer and when you go to get rid of it, they have hidden stuff..Gobbler wrote:Yes. Get her an email address on hotmail or gmail or free aol. then let her sign up. If there is a problem I'll get Rick to make it work.

Re: Computer question
1. Get her a computer of her own.
2. Have her open a gmail account.
3. If you don't already have a wireless setup, run down to Best Buy and pick up a wireless router (I recommend the Netgear N600 Dual Band model).
4. Have fun.
Follow these simple steps, and you'll never see each other again.
