Roaring 20's Christmas Party

Post by Jaybird »

Got a chance to wear my Gangsta 20's clothes with pin stripped suit, spats, black silk shirt, white tie, and matching pin stripped hat. Had a great time with my Cajun lady, who plans on spending a 9 day road trip hunting at least in Kansas and Iowa with me. We plan on taking her pop up trailer, and living out of that, which will sure beat my usual SUV for 9 days. She's got a Rio in the past, so hopefully we can add an Eastern or 2 to that.

How old were you in the 20's?
May I assume you're not here to inquire about the alcohol or the tobacco?

Jay.
That picture is priceless. You compliment each other well.
That suit really makes you look like you should be on the Soprano's, slapping the Bejesus out of somebody..
Well done..
On a side note..That would make nice wedding attire..

We plan on getting married in probably July. I've got a daughter getting married in June, so not to interfere with that, we'll go a month later. If we go a moderately sized wedding, we plan on having it at a Park or the lake Marsha likes to go fishing at, so it won't be a suit day. However, it wouldn't bother Marsha at all if we got married at a JP, and left on a fishing trip for a week or maybe Hawaii if finances allow. She's very low maintenance, and easy to please, so anything we do together is fine with her.

Hasn't hunted in a while, and mostly hogs in Texas if I remember right, but has hunted Turkey a bit. We are getting her back into it this Spring, and she's excited.
