Tice thats a great little heater.. Sal has one she carries with her.. In our 4x6 elevated blind it heats it up fast and burns the windows off really fast.. Since that heaters introduction it is probably the most popular and a great choice.

A plaque style heater heats objects and in return heats the air. They are very effective.. We also have an 18000 BTU blue flame wall mount in another blind that is 6x6 and a 30000 btu 3 plaque in another that is 6x8. The Blue flames tend to have heat that rises to the top of the blind more than the plaque style heater..

hope that propane is deodorized. unless your hunting at 50 yards i dont think you will have a problem with smell tho. They might have a mercaptan based fuel for that application.??

I've used one for several years on camping trips and the such. Great heater, just dont leave it in the rain.

I'm not all that worried about smell, the deer in Southern Iowa are used to the smell of meth labs, so what's a little propane?
