Nice first Bird of the year!

First of all, I want to give a shout out to Ronnie for letting me borrow his Key, and String!!!
It brought them straight in from 300yds out. It was amazing how straight as an arrow they came!!!
I don't know if I want to give it back NOW!!!

Long story short, had 4 Longbeards no more than 25yds. I just tried to pick out the one with the longest spurs, and the rest is history.
Could not get over the weight of this thing. I just thought I was getting old, while carrying him back to the truck.

12" beard, inch and a quarter spurs, and weighed 23 and a quarter pounds.
Scored out at 72.25"

Nice, that's a Hoss. Glad The String and Key To Success worked out. Don't use them all the time, the populations couldn't withstand it.
