I'm tellin ya...you sometimes wonder what goes thru a person's mind. We get out of the truck at the entrance of the field yesterday, walked 20 feet from the road, we hear boom, boom, boom from the other side of the road. And I hear the sound you never want to hear...whizzzzzzz goes a slug right over our heads. That'll get your attention right quick, never seen the shooters, idiots were shooting across the road.

So here comes 5 does onto our side and I have not loaded my pistol yet, my buddy throws a slug at one on the run, misses. Oh well, got out of there alive and will be back on them Wed. Yikes!

Its good when you hear the sound that means you are able to return fire. A few years ago some idiots in a duck blind behind and to the left of us twice peppered our set up with shot. After the first time my bud stood up and yelled at them. After the second one my buddy stood up and m t 'd his gun in their direction.
