Treestand Day #2!

Post by CamoMan4025 »

Well I went back to my new apple box stand. I had to put some support boards on it. I also put a shooting rail. I did some rangefinding and my longest shot is about 363 yards. I doubt I shoot that far, but time will tell. My Weatherby is capable of it, but not sure if I am??? Oh well, I took a few pics of the view. I also put my gobbler lounger in there to see how it would fit...........WOW, like a dream, all I need is a roof and a heater am I'm ready!

Here is the view looking straght ahead (you can see the shooting board in these pics)

Very nice set-up. Now you need a pile of apples at about the 150 yard marker. Ah Hell. You should put a pile every 50 yards so you can use them as a range finder.
May I assume you're not here to inquire about the alcohol or the tobacco?
