Ducks we grill. Anymore I prefer duck over venison.. Goose, everybody has a great recipe, but these folks that have these goose recipes never want any goose boobs when you offer them to them.. Goose is not the best eating.. So with geese we make jerky or bratwurst.. It makes really really good jerky.

It's flying liver if you ask me. They are fun to shoot, but that's where it ends for me..
May I assume you're not here to inquire about the alcohol or the tobacco?

Archery deer opener here in Illinois, I got out this morning and had 4 does go by and one fawn at 5 yards for about 10 miutes. I wasn't really wanting to kill one this early. It was a great morning to be out, lots of wildlife out and about. My buddy killed a nice doe at 4:15 this afternoon.

Had a great day in the woods on Sat. It was our bow opener. Rough sitting up in a tree stand with the wind blowing 20 to 30 mph. Didn't get to see any blood but I did see a huge bobcat, 2 does , & 5 big ole longbeards. All out of range. Still a good day though.
The backyard buck has gone nocturnal . Lots of acorns dropping now. Everyone be safe in the woods & especially around tree stands.

Take Care vaturkey :struttin:
