I may agree with that except when it always seems to me that the people that make the I don't use a decoy or blind comments want to make it seem like it is somehow better to hunt their way. No it isn't. So if you don't use a blind , decoy etc I get it already but not using one doesn't make it better or worse like some would want you to believe.

But it seems to me anytime someone new asks for advice it's ok for the decoy/blind crowd to express their views and methods, but when someone mentions not needing decoy's/blinds they are quickly cast as being elitist's and rude.

I personally wish every one used decoys and blinds except me.

DSD will make em weak in the knees......Decoys will be used sometimes....its another advertisement marketing income for the employees and owners of the companies. Same reason they use those "stupid" red dot sights instead of barrel with a simple bead. Everyone has their own way....Just as long as they are killing turkeys and not over bait...Good for them.

See I disagree again. I feel it is okay and welcome your views either way but it seems that some of the no decoy crowd feel that there way is the only right way to hunt turkeys and are always pushing that.

See maybe I am wrong but I immediately felt that the only reason the question was asked about the use of decoys and blinds was so if the poster said yes they could once again voice their displeasure with that. So I didn't blame the guy for being evasive in his answer. I don't believe anyone that hunts with a blind or decoys would have said hey does this show involve no decoys and blinds because if does I ain't gonna watch it.

I felt Mikes question was fair. Certainly not deserving of what he was accused of. He's simply not interested in watching someone on TV sitting in a blind shooting turkeys over decoy's. Like when I was young, well even now, before I try to watch a movie I want to know if there are boob's in it. No boob's then chances are good I won't ever see it.

That's exactly right. My post was a simple question that, if answered, would determine if I watch the show or not.

I can honestly say there is not a single hunting show that comes on TV today that I love or even like to watch. If some of the crap on TV today gets you all pumped up then you have had some pretty sad experiences in the woods. Back in the day there were some good hunting shows and their goal was to capture good hunts and share them with fellow hunters. Today the goal of hunting shows are to sell as many gimmicks as possible.

And as far as everyone getting along and supporting everyone elses way of hunting, that will never happen and would be boring if it did. People are all different, with different opinions and should be able to voice them without someone else getting all butt hurt over what was said. If you agree, that's fine, if not, move on with life...it's really not that serious.
