Bow shoot a turkey

Have you ever tried to shoot a turkey with a bow out of the Deer stand?

I have done it once way back in the eighties. It was out of a wooden plywood stand with a chair on it. I don't think the Gobbler was able to see me. The arrow pinned the turkey to the ground. As I was climbing down out of the tree the gobbler pulled free and ran off. I was upset. Didn't try that again. Fast forward to more high tech times.

In these more modern times the turkeys always see me no matter how still I am. Even so, I might try this year with my leafy wear. If one would ever come close enough. And if I was able to draw on him. I might try it with an expandable Broad head.

I know its the fall but I want to kill a Gobbler after watching that Head Crushers dvd.

I haven't been able to do it from a tree stand...but Lord willing I will get one with my bow one way or the other this fall!
