Warbird Pot call drawing
Warbird Pot call drawing
GN wants to thank Jim aka Yellowjacket from Warbird Turkey calls. He has generously offered a pot call to be given away in a drawing to spice things up around here.
What we were thinking is to just have a drawing at the end of the month Sept 30th. We will write the user name of each member and any new members that sign up by the 29th of september on the back of a numbered ticket and put the tickets in a bucket.
We will draw the winning ticket out of the bucket on the 30th and post the winners name on GN. This method will probably need to be replaced if this happens again. because I don't want to be filling out tickets if we grow over 100 members.LOL

That's a very nice gesture giving away a fine looking call. Instead of a drawing, a football contest would be fun. Put up like 15 games from College and Pro with the member who picks the most winners gets the call.
Re: Warbird Pot call drawing
Those Warbird calls are some great looking calls. I really like that turkey foot design on the back. Thanks to Jim and Warbird!

I've never heard one so I can't comment on the sound, but I'd give it an A in the looks department.

Rick found a place called random.org. You can choose a number range and it will randomly pick a number. The day of the drawing I thought about picking one through however many have signed up . We are at 90 right now.
Then if I pick your number and you have not posted yet and have zero posts I thought I would pick again until we pick a number for a user that has posted at least one time.
Does this sound fair? This is my first internet drawing.

Re: Warbird Pot call drawing
Sweet! Now, I can lose contests on TWO sites. I'll be sending you a list of states anyway...
Re: Warbird Pot call drawing
No problem. Glad yall came up with a good hangout spot. I will ship the call priority usps whenever the winner is drawn. A free call is the least I can do for you guys posting up callmaker links. Not many places around anymore that allows it for free.rick wrote:Thanks YellaJacket...that's really appreciated.
