Met Rob and Gage at his Cabin and we were off to Pa State Game Lands to hunt at 7:30!
BEAUTIFUL DAY and the Game Lands were Full of Old Scratchings! It would only be a matter of time before we caught up with Turkeys! Along the way we must have passed by at least 30 Fresh Deer Scrapes! OMG!!!
THANK GOD the Dogs can KEEP ON THE TURKEY SEARCH!
After we rounded the end of a Wooded Beaver Pond we got to a PERFECT Hard Wood Flat and the Break was ON!!!!!!
It was a Short Break --- But we saw Flying Turkeys!
Set Up was made on the Edge of the Hard Wood Flat and the Call back was on!
This would be a Double Team ALL THE WAY!

An Hour Passed and I hear a Turkey Cluck just to my Right! PERFECT for the Right Handed Shooter, Rob!
The Turkey had Me Pinned Down and Rob talked with it on a Mouth call! The bird decided to go down hill out of range and join up with a Buddy!
I was able to pick up my Larry Gresser Copper Pot that LH had given me a Few Years ago! MY FAVORITE CALL!
Suddenly a real COURSE YELP was heard!!! OH BOY -- Gobblers!
At this I Hit that Copper Pot with a Popping Series of Cutts!!!
GOBBLEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!
I HIT THEM HARD!!!
Double/Triple GOBBLES!!!
I could Hear Rob's Breathing Rise!
Rob says, "You Turned Them and there are 6 Of The Red Heads"!
ALL THE WHILE -- Both Dogs are being GOOD!!
This factor of "Turkey Dogg'n"Amazes Me! How they can go from Total Energy to do the Break and Complete (WELL -- Almost Complete) Control on the Call Back!
They're coming!! I Tone down my cutts and await the shot!
