How Many States have you killed a Gobbler In?

I know this sounds like I have been living under a rock. But I have run into 2 guys in the last month that are working on killing a Gobbler in every state!! You don't here about that very much.

WOW! now that is a challenge!

So I tried to remember how many different states I've killed Gobblers in.

I have hunted in 9 states and killed in only 7. I have 41 to go. HA! Probably won't happen but I respect those that do it.

Is anyone doing this?

I have only killed turkeys in two states. Wi. and Mi. I might get to try Kansas this year, though. I don't get out much..

All 49 that will let me hunt. I need to find a farmer in Alaska who will let me shoot one of his barnyard birds, so I can make it all 50! I've also taken public land birds everywhere but North Dakota, and at least 2 toms in each state....working down a short list for at least 3.

Ga and Bama...Bama got me twice.
Didn't kill turkeys in Bama cause I was as green as you could be while hunting Dega national forest and messed up more than I care to admit..
Ga...only heard 3 gobbles in 3 days. Couldn't even get on them. It was late in the season and had the opportunity to do it, so I did it. lol

Ohio...the county I hunted had 1 tom checked in that year...and it wasn't me. lol That was near Marysville Oh.

I would love to kill a bird in each state that has them but I can't seem to not go to Nebraska since I was introduced to it a cople of years ago...planning on going there and then Kansas next year and Ga. if there's turkey on the property I can hunt on but as for now it's just Florida and Nebraska that I've laid the smack down on birds....woohooo

well havent been turkey hunting that long but i have taken birds in FL, GA , MO but buy far florida has been the hardest state to hunt for any game at that.

Hmm!! I have a few big good ol'boys that you would barely come up to the shins on as friends in that county. They also have some big mean man eatin' dogs for pets. Maybe you could visit have a few 60 pounders of whiskey and discuss just who's county it is and who is and isn't welcome!

I found Florida to be the easiest. I applied for a tag on a WMA, got drawn, went there and shot my tom on the morning of first day of the season I had. Easy peasy lemon squeezy

dont know how many times iv been set up and someone else walks in on me or a decoy set in understand runnin and gunnin but wow sometimes just aggrivating essp on WMA

I've killed turkeys in 15 different states and 2 countries. I'm trying to catch Hookspur. After I do that I'll try to catch Guesswho and kill 50 in each state.

Hello fellas..I have only 6. I may try to get all 49 but not going to press on it. I just like traveling around and seeing the country and hunting different terrain. Most of the folks have met have been good people. If you travel you sure meet some characters. One of my huntin buddies has 48. We are headed out next spring for his 49th.
