With my kids growing up, and active with athletics on Saturday, Sunday was the only day we had to hunt. Glad we got rid of that Sunday deal years ago in Iowa.

That is crazy stuff, right there..I cannot believe that law is still on the books. Someone must think it's worthy...What else can't you do on Sunday?? I got crazy once, and went into a liquor store on Sunday afternoon.

West Virginia alows Sunday hunting in 0nly 14 of 55 counties on private land only.
The rest of us are just SOL

I believe this law was enacted by a king to protect diminished wild game numbers. Last I looked England hasn't ruled us for years, just their banking system.

They have allowed Sunday hunting in MS since I have been hunting. Years ago they did not allow dove hunting because this was the bird that brought the olive branch back to the ark after Noah's flood. Probably not true, but that is what I have been told. I have been told worse and was expected to believe it.

Well, I know I'm gonna get blasted for this, but I'm in favor for no Sunday hunting. I'm not looking for an argument, I know, if I don't agree with it then I don't have to hunt on Sundays.........blah blah blah. I am fortunate enough to have a good amount of vacation and I usually take the entire month of November off. If I only had weekends to hunt, then I may change my mind. I'm sure it will change one year.

I wish my state would shut down Sunday hunting. Game animals need some time off and that includes big game, ducks, and turkeys, with a day off they quickly go back to a routine. No hunting on Sundays means Mondays and Tuesdays are better hunting days. If guys want to be afield on Sunday, they can scout, most guys would do better if they would scout more anyways. Of course, I don't hunt Sundays, but I'm sure the guys that do hunt on Sunday would argue the opposite view.
