New hunting buddy for pheasant season

Got him yesterday, new German Shorthair (my fourth) male, good lookin rascal, don't even have a name yet, any suggestions?

hey...playing with a tennis ball can be exhausting!

I'm hearing positive things, we had a pretty good spring hatch, dry spring, which has morphed into a drought sadly, but it should rebound some this year. That's OK, this pup won't be ready this year, I will still hunt over my 10 yr old shorthair this year and then next year, this little dude will be kickin butt and takin names!

speakin of names....I am leaning towards "Jace", after the dude on Duck Dynasty, my favorite character on my fave show.

Nice looking pup. I am grateful that I am on this side of puppyhood with my Britt. Jace is a good, simple name that can be said at the top of your lungs (and you will) and isn't close in sound to a command.

36 hrs later....little Jace is already bell trained!

i.e.- rings a little cow bell (on a string) by the back door to let us know he wants out, pretty fast learner for 7 weeks.
