Scope Mount Fabrication. ???

Post by redarrow »

I don't want to learn to shoot left handed. So I need to fabricate some sort of mount that will allow me to shoot my crossbow right handed while looking through the scope with my left (Good) eye. Multiple retina tears and surgeries has left my right eye pretty weak. No matter how much I try to set the scope focus it is still fuzzy. So i'm open to suggestion on moving the scope to the left approx 1-1 1/2 inches I was able to do this on my compound simply by using a longer piece of octagon stock.

I shoot both as my right eye comes and goes. Would love to shoot a bow though. Thought about a laser added to my setup so I can. As far as a crossbow it shot good enough for me left handed

Any good machine shop can take 2 bases and make a bridge to move it over. nothing to it, mill the top of one and the bottom of the other piece of alum. and 4 holes.

It will only have a true zero at one distance. You will be a little right at really close distances and a little left at increasingly longer distances. Depending on your zero distance.

God Bless, Louis
