OH Deer!! A Bird!!

I went out to take a walk at 20:00 & saw a doe & fawn across the creek in the beans.
I went back to the house & got the camera. By the time I got back, the 2 deer had
magically changed into a Great Blue Heron!!

I started taking pics & walking closer. My property is sloped down towards the creek
so, by the time I got there, I couldn’t see the heron.

I did see 2 deer all the north in the field along the woods. I took several pics but they
didn’t turn out real well. These were the same 2 I initially saw but were 2 bucks.

I started back up the hill & the heron took off. I started snapping as it flew along the
creek & out of sight.

I didn't realize it until I started sizing the pics but I did get a deer & the heron in 1 pic.

I think I may just start taking the camera with me when I walk.
