NY Eagles

Post by HunterGKS »

Before I got to New York, Evan, Ron’s grandson, had spotted an eagle’s nest on the far side
of the Chenango River near Norwich. Ron & I found it & I got a few pictures both times we
stopped. It was really hard to get focused on the nest as I had to shoot through a lot of
branches.

The 1st 3 pics were from the 1st stop.

The rest of the pics were from the second stop &
you can clearly see at least 1 eaglet. Pic 4 looks like there may be 2 but it’s hard to tell.

I thought there were 2 based on the 4th pic of the 2nd group but it's really
hard to tell.

Wait...... That's right here in my neck of the woods! The Eagles are legit and beautiful, but the pics of the turkeys in your other post? No way, there are no turkeys around here! :struttin:

I was out last week sitting in the woods when I heard what sounded like the wings of a large bird flapping above me . I looked up through the treetops in time to see two bald eages come together talons out in a sky fight. The diving and swooping at each other went on for about 5 minutes until one turned tail and flew off with the other chasing it out of sight !
