For you Kansas hunters
Re: For you Kansas hunters
I have a old friend just told me 2 days ago he was buying a farm in Kansas and Leaving New Mexico, signed the papers last friday for the farm. He said it has turkeys, deer, pheasant and grouse and plenty of ducks and geese. Might try to get down there in a year or so to shoot me a Kansas turkey, if there are any left.

Re: For you Kansas hunters
This isn't all true. They changed Fall regs a few years ago. Was a limit of 4,now 1. 4 in north central. Two years ago change, non resident can't buy permits on the internet. This stops dirt balls from coping permits and killing more than a limit. Where I hunt in the north west part they finally went to a 2 birds Spring limit.Like everything else, it's hunting. Wet Springs and habit loss are some of the reasons bird numbers are down. Not Fall hunting.

There’s several states that’s suffering
Like Louisiana. Their dept doesn’t want to reduce limitations etc as they want to keep the revenue

Revenues drive alot of departments decisions! I sure wish it was 4 fall birds in the north central part of state like it used to be. Was fun fall gobbler hunting KS.
Re: For you Kansas hunters
Kill them all of or down to a few and the revenue will stop, but a politician is always after the money without thinking

For sure! At least they’ve made changes. And it makes sense to me. Can’t hurt. Hopefully it’s not too late.ltprodtorreyh wrote: ↑May 28th, 2019, 7:13 pmhoobilly wrote:There’s several states that’s suffering

Feel, don't think. Trust your instincts.

Hopefully Kansas is smarter than LA and makes changes sooner. Birds have pretty much disappeared around here where there use to be tons
