in the grass along the south side of the pond. For a change, I didn’t have the
camera with me & the geese were literally posing. Today, I did have the camera
& got a few pics. It is unusual to see 3 families as well as several aunts, uncles,
& cousins. Usually, there is 1 family that has up to 7 goslings that dwindle down
to 1 before they leave. I have seen a hawk perched in a tree near the pond &
assume that it dines on the goslings.
