Re: Fake News and Fake Turkeys.....
Thanks everyone.
I cleaned the bird at the farm and didn't get to weigh him. His spurs were just a tad over 1 1/4 and his beard was 10 inches. I called him in about 200 yards from where I killed the coyote. The yote had caused the birds near us to fly back up, so we moved to a new spot.
Brice, my dad hasn't hunted much lately but he will hunt the coyotes hard right after we mow the native grasses in early May. I let a guy trap this year and he got 5 out for me. I had one trail cam pic with six in it just before he trapped.
Redarrow, I just happened up on that shed while we were moving. It is the oldest looking one I have ever seen - definitely not from this spring. My dad loves finding sheds, so I gave it to him later that day. He was really happy. The shed came from a relative's land that borders my farm where we have permission to hunt. Even though I run cameras all year long, I don't recall seeing that particular deer.
Here are the deer that me and my son took last fall. His during ML season and mine during rifle season:

Re: Fake News and Fake Turkeys.....
Thanks Kevin,
I haven't been around much lately. Even though I still love turkey hunting, I am now more into deer hunting and deer habitat building. I do quite a bit of posting on deer forums these days. Good to hear from you, and I will try to drop by more often.

Re: Fake News and Fake Turkeys.....
Was hunting with an old NWTF forum poster and your name came up regarding coyotes. We're working on one that seems to have a taste for fawns.
