Welcome. This is a friendly and helpful place. Lived on a farm in Tompkins county for a number of years in the 1980s. Wish I had known something about turkey hunting back then cause there was a ton of them, but still did a lot of deer and upland bird hunting, and fishing in that area as well as the Adirondacks. My wife is from Dutchess County. Love upstate New York.

Grumpy, thanks for leaving the lights on for me. Most people shut them off and lock the door when they see me coming.

SwampDrummin, I have turkeys on the brain twelve months a year and the fact that you guys are here and talkin' turkey this time of the year, is one of the things that told me I'd found the right place.
