Great Time In Texas

Post by redarrow »

Took my first commercial plane trip this past thursday. My two ,Sisters ,my nephew, and I flew to DFW airport then on to Cleburne. We hadnt seen our brother in over 4 years. Hes been pretyy sick with copd.I had no idea he was that bad. He knew my Sisters were coming but I totally surprised him .We had an awesome time telling tales from our childhood. He could use some prayers.

Awesome, you got to see him. I refuse to fly. Lol

My mom has the most severe type of COPD, she's on full time oxygen, neabulitzer, has more enhalers than you can name and has a bipap she sleeps with. Shes 80 lbs now. COPD is no joke, I personally never look down on folks your era that smoked, it was a way of life. I wouldn't doubt this fall I'm in Oklahoma and get the call, probably will board a jet for the first time. Prayers for your brother, hopefully caught his early

My wife has copd and has never smoked. Her parents never smoked. We think she got it while working for a radiator making company. She was in purchasing and had to go on the floor checking inventory often. Sucks for her when its very humid and hot.

Glad you had a safe trip there and back and able to spend time with family
