Not a FB guy either. Please share a link if you've got one.

My turkey season was a bit of a bummer and I need my fix.

Hi Guys & Gals,
Sorry, but I decided to forego the season-ending synopsis on here. Photobucket pissed me off so much last year that I swore off ever going to their site again. Posting pics on Facebook is easy as pie, and while I much prefer life over here on the forums, I just don't have the time to work my way through all the hassles of photo hosting sites and such. I'm a technological dinosaur, but I like it that way. Trying to get my second book done, as well, and finish my house to the point where I can actually live in it. There ain't enough hours in a day.........

Hope everyone had a great and safe season. Mine was pretty good. Feel free to come on over to Facebook and friend me (Tom Weddle) if you want to see a few pics of how things went.

I use jpgbox.com for hosting. Easy to use BUT photos can't be bigger than 2500x1500 or must be resized which is what I use pb for these days. I don't register for jpbox.com so I don't have any storage there. I am another dinosaur who will probably never set foot on FB. I know of too many folks who met their downfall there. Gil

I get the aversion to Facebook, but it has some uses. The older we get, the more life pulls us in directions that don't bisect the paths of friends we care about, so it's nice to maintain some kind of connection, even if it's via the web.

One of the agreements I made with the government to be in the WitSec program was not to be on facebook. Opps. Probably shouldn't have said that here.

I understand man. I just finished volume 1 of the book and it was great. Looking forward to #2. Being halfway through a state slam I can relate to a lot of things you write about. Just wish I had more time every spring, but with 3 kids and a wife time is precious!!

That works to a point. When it fills up pictures have to be deleted every once in a while.

Photobucket has to make some money as 98% of the people don’t care about the adds on websites and that’s how Pbucket tried to make money.

So I went ahead and paid for the whole year to keep using it

Exactly my problem.
If i text them to myself they send in a smaller size and I can post them that way.
I just store them in a separate folder then because they are already resized.
