Those MO birds have some good spurs, I've hunted out there for several years and killed a pile of birds and 1 3/8" is the best I have ever killed. Seems prolly 95% of the birds I've killed out there are 1" or just over and only a handful 1 1/4" or longer. Congratulations on a great season, sure looks like you had a fun year.

I seen one being checked in out there several years ago that weighed a even 30 pounds, I think 22 to 23 lbs. is bout average.

My Dad killed his best bird ever this year in MIssouri at 27# and 1 3/8” spurs. I’ve never hunted Missouri but heard a lot of folks say they have some of the largest birds.
Congrats on an awesome season.

Congrats! Looks like you had a blast. Giving me the itch to go again...
In a couple of those photos of 25+ lb birds, looks like your gun must weigh at least 15 lbs. Just its proximity...what are you shooting???

MO birds can be heavy! Biggest one I called in this year was 26lb 2oz. But his buddy that was with him only weighed 24lb 4oz and supported 1 9/16 spurs and tail fan was 32" wide when I dried it out for the wall. Girlfriend which has tagged along and shot birds with me in numerous state's always says these little birds are so much easier to carry out. Congrats on a good season of birds!
