Annual Wisconsin Trip
My best buddy spurhntr and I made it to Wisconsin this spring again. I was able to fill my 2 tags in 2 mornings.
The 1st bird I was able to kill was with my .410. 3" 13/16oz load T9.5 shot.
It was 22.5lbs (heaviest gobbler I've ever taken)
10.25" beard
1-1/16" and 1" spurs

Re: Annual Wisconsin Trip
My 2nd bird turned out to have the thickest beard that I've ever taken and he came in early at 5.55am on the 2nd morning.
I shot him with my 20ga 1-7/16oz of T9.
A shade over 21lbs
10-3/16" beard
Both spurs 1-3/16"

Re: Annual Wisconsin Trip
Wisconsin has been extremely good to me. I have always seen birds, taken some more often than not.
Last season I have killed my longest spurred bird (both spurs 1.75") and my longest bearded bird at 10-15/16".
This season I killed my heaviest bird and thickest bearded bird.
I am greatful
