Not to hijack; but A couple years back I lived in a house in a neighborhood backing up to a floodplain where I fed turkeys for several years. It was awesome getting to sit and drink coffee and watch flock dynamics for such a long time but that is an aside. In all my time watching them, I never saw or heard them gobble, that is, except for one day (I guess they still were halfway cognizant of the human threat). That one day it was cold and rainy. Just flat miserable. Then, halfway through the morning the slow storm broke and the sun shone through. The temp seemed to jump. I was watching a flock of 2 longbeards and 11-13 hens. They were in their typical cold, wet mood but almost as soon as the sun broke through, both of the gobblers heads lit up in all the vivid colors they can do and both of them hammered. I went and got my slate and had them going like a couple barnyard turkeys for 10 minutes. They can and do respond inthe rain but this opened up my eyes to the possibilities that come with breaks in the rain.

Anyways, nice bird. Good getting it there
