Super Nice Gesture
Just in case any of you were wondering what our new Fearless Leader, Hoobilly Brice was made of,.... I'll give you a little tidbit.
He just drove from Northern IN, to Port Arthur,TX, with a big U-Haul trailer loaded with supplies, to be given to the victims from the hurricane.
Slept in the truck going down, bout half way. It takes a special kind of someone, to do something like that!!
I always knew he was a giving person from the beginning. In my first year on this site, he sent me that famous turkey painting,... yea, the one that looks like a bearded hen,.. . Then later he had a box of 220 Swift he had from years ago. He PMed and asked if I could use em. I said sure.
I didn't even know him at the time.
Redarrow, Billie did the same to me also, with some 222s. We really have some great folks on this site!!!

Re: Super Nice Gesture
That is a great gesture on behalf of Hoobilly. I have not met him, but listening to you talk about him I have a lot of respect for him.
Tommy you are very generous too. I invited me down to shoot with you and did a ton of work on my 257 ammo for nothing. I can't thank you enough.
Salutes to both of you guys and this site!

Good chance he drove within a mile of my house heading to Beaumont. Sure wish I had known, could've fed him dinner.
And yes, that shows real compassion and a good heart to go to that much effort for those storm victims.

Re: Super Nice Gesture
That's my niece driving. Giving me a little break
My daughter in the back seat always giving me a hard time.
We went Port Arthur to drop off cleaning supplies and pet food.
We know people who had to drive to Louisiana to get milk etc
Hopefully they will be able to recover and rebuild. Can't imagine how bad it is further west of there

Re: Super Nice Gesture
It is awesome what Brice did. Action speaks louder than words. A very giving person and family. Even so he has always been kind of a prick towards me.
