Are you all safe?

I know Doug (Gobbler) tested this morning that they had minimal damage and survived the night.

Wondering how Rick and everyone else is doing down there?

My parents did ok around Lakeland. One tree came down on the very corner of their house at the garage, causing minimal damage. Other than that it's just limbs and leaves everywhere.

It got rough here in North Florida. All safe but may be out of power up to a week or more.

I heard yesterday that the Brandon (where I lived) & Valrico area didn't have too much damage, lot of rain & trees down, some without power but not nearly as bad as expected.

I have been hearing the same.. thankfully not a lot of damage. some areas had more damage from the tornados than from Irma herself

Ok here. The storm took a small easterly track about an hour before it got here so we were on the left side and only had some 90mph gust. House was built to after Andrew codes and did fine. Whew!

power and flooding in various areas around where I live in Plant City. But it has quickly got back to normal. I feel for the folks with out power.

Electricity is what keeps civilization in tack. The hard working utility men and women are the ones keeping us from anarchy. :
