Re: New Toy
So not stone, visiting my God mother, decided to cook on a Weber. Did kabobs well sorta. Skewered my strip. Vegetables we did in a basket on grill with dollar store,," soul food" seasoning great. We've begun to do our steak and veggies separate as we like med rare steak kabob them together u have either overdone steak or under done veggies.

You can use mayo, instead of butter, on the outsides of a grilled cheese sammich, as well!
May I assume you're not here to inquire about the alcohol or the tobacco?

Looks great except for the sour cream. Don’t, won’t, can’t do it. The rest looks crazy good!

Cooked on 17" tonight. Phillys, sweet peppers onionss on BS in Butter and shaved ribeye. On brioche Buns. I doused mine in St Elmo's Creamy Horseradish sauce. I use this, and their cocktail sauce on shrimp, you like horse radish on roids these are your sauces. Also did our first Michigan sweet corn on stone basted in garlic herb butter every quarter turn.

Re: New Toy
So this is a recipe near and dear to my heart y'all know I lost ma Christmas eve had it with goose, venison, beef duck, and turkey, mom's made this since I was a kid. She got the recipe from a deceased friend. When ma passed I asked dad for her cookbooks he said sure, so immediately I start shaking them for her homegrown recipes. Couldn't find the two I wanted were missing.
One day I broke down bawling in truck. Sal what's wrong? "I said I miss mom's cooking I may never see these recipes again" The Lil things kill me. That's when I break. Luckily by grace of God he who gave ma recipe daughter saw my plight asked is this it. Made it tonight It's it. This is a dish all my college buddies come up, request next visit. The other recipe I was crying about luckily my aunt had I'll have on my birthday as it was always my choice
Blackstone for beef and noodles Chinese veggies, Szechuan concoction sauce over angel hair saturated in butter and Parm.

Re: New Toy
Not Blackstone but. Brined pork tenderloin yesterday, smoked on kettle offset with foil pack and chips to 140 and finished with a peach glaze. Smoked Mac and cheese with bacon and carmelized onions.

Re: New Toy
Thanks guys it's really simple on kettle any charcoal grill or even gas.
Pork tenderloin is an amazing meat. I simply mixed gallon of water 1 cup kosher salt and a cup of sugar to 1 gallon water brined 4 hrs.
Di.d not rub it as was using the peach glaze. Made small lump charcoal fire on one side of grill meat on other. Put a foil pack with chips on charcoal. When it hit 130 glazed. Daytona sauce is amazing on them to simple to make. Pull at 140

Score...
So had to pay for Sal's dad's pig from a local butcher my HS girlfriend owns to donate to a home for disabled, place carries Chuck eye cheap, found these, they had me at the marbling. 4 not sure we can eat all 4
Took picture face down so no locals knows where. Lol
What would be grade, it's local beef?
Chuck eye is my favorite steak essentially rib eye half price comes from 5th rib, ribeye is 6 through 12. There small 8 oz and we don't eat big.
These are pushing prime imo. More to come
