Awesome take my advice, Crisco, cold beer, no smoke left. Repeat and than something greasy. I own 3 friers, 2 kamados, 3 blackstones and multiple grills you'll love it and own one.

Any advice, I'll help best I can

Plated pics aren't great. But did one of my favorite meats tonight pork tenderloin. Blackening seasoning, on baby kamado to 130 with cherry wood for hint of smoke, than to the 22" Blackstone to 140f an reverse seared.

Than she says you want a surprise. I'm like **** she's pregnant. She goes you'll have a Blackstone pizza oven Monday. I've really wanted one, it gets up to 900 degrees cook a pizza in 3 minutes

Fired up 22" Blackstone tonight.. Blackened, hot and spicy sausage and shrimp jambalaya. Did rice refrigerated an hour. Didn't stick at all. It was great but spicy... Maybe best jambalaya I've made!!!

Alright. Instead of making new thread. I’ll contribute to this one. Mother in law told me today that she wants the 28” cause the 36” is to big for her and her husband. Told me if I go buy her the 28” then she give me her 36”. Heck yea. No brainer. So I brought it over to my house tonight and we did SHOGUNS at my house. For those of you who don’t know what shoguns is well it’s a Japanese restaurant where you sit down and they cook in front of you on something similar to the griddle just on a larger scale.
Anyway, I cooked chicken, steak, shrimp, rice(with lots of butter) mushrooms, and vegetables. The vegetables was squash zucchini and onions. Seasoned everything to our liking and it was GOOD. Better than shoguns. Put it all on my plate and covered it with yum yum sauce. Sure was good. Had 8 beers while cooking it.
Now for the cleaning part. It wasn’t to bad but it does require a little bit of elbow grease and time. Not much just some. I ordered a cover for it tonight on eBay. All in all it’s a good buy. Now the model I have is upgraded from some of the reviews I’ve seen about the grease not hitting the catch pan. Looks like they have spot welded right behind the grease drain hole that way when it falls out of the hole it hits the spot weld and has no choice but to hit the grease catch pan. Way I understand it the early models don’t have that and people was complaining. BTW the grease you see on the porch concrete is my fault, I hit the damn tray and grease spilled out on to porch. Lol. It takes a pressure washer to get that stuff off to.

Burgers with cheese shrooms and onions with Big Mac sauce. It was good. Cooked 10 burgers. Mil and fil loved them to.
I’m gonna have to modify the drain though. Not the grills fault though. It’s who ever built my porches fault. It’s not level. I’ll get it right thought, where it will drain properly
