Before becoming an Ironworker, I worked at a pickle factory.
One day I got my fingers caught in the pickle slicer!
They fired both of us!!

started guiding flyfishing right out of highschool in Alaska, chile, the Bahamas and here in the Appalachian mountians when I was stateside. gave it up when I was 26 and been building waterheaters ever since. if you have a whirlpool I probably built your waterheater. I also manage an average of 60 colonies of honeybees a season. I am a 3rd generation beekeeper.

In order of careers: chef, butcher, now an accountant. Next job I plan on having is retired.

I got in a lot of trouble in high school, the teacher went around the class asking us what we wanted to be. I said, "door-to-door gynecologist". Apparently, that wasn't the right answer. :joker:

I'm the planning director for a nearby city of approximately 14,000 people. Not as exciting as some others here but it pays the bills.

Farm Manager. We grow Christmas trees, pumpkins, field corn, sweet corn and soybeans. Seems like we are always either planting or harvesting. See alot of wildlife though; and I am outside every day. Do a little gunsmithing and welding too. I am a licensed building contractor but there is just about too much stress in that. Just keeping my license for now.

I run my own residential construction company. It is kinda nice when I'm able to pencil in turkey season and duck season into the schedule.
