It was a short cave with 2 rooms, well kinda, and lite up well from natural light.
1 room is where they had fires and cooked it appeared as there was black soot on the cave top. I'm sure it was a smokey mess in there!!
Can't remember what language was carved in the stone now, or if they knew for sure?? There were a lot of Aztec in the area at one time though.
ever wonder where the white goes when the snow melts??

Hmmm, I have a good interest in prehistoric things and this place looks awesome. I would like to visit here to know about the history of this cave.soiltester wrote: ↑June 27th, 2017, 10:20 am This pic. is of camp, from the mountain across camp with Agoc Travel, where there is a pre-historic cave that someone/thing lived in before the Jeronamo era

They have even more caves where the Indians lived and quite a story along with it. Sounds like quite a hike down the side of a mountain with a big river below
Didn't make it there and it's on my "not-to-do" list, this next trip.
I'd have a GN sticker on the kitchen window .. if Hoobilly would spring fer' 1
