Tagged out in Tennessee!

Post by C.kimzey95 »

Well I found my 4th one this afternoon in the hills of lynchburg. Actually killed him in the same exact spot as I killed number 3 on this past Saturday. Thankful to be able to chase these birds and blessed to live somewhere with a whole bunch of em. Another fatty at 22lbs with 1.25" spurs and a 9.5" beard. ImageImage

Congratulations!! I wish we could shoot multiple birds here in MI. Our turkey population could support a second bird on private land.

Again - way to knock them out!!

Nice job! We're done at 2 here in ON. I wish it weren't so, but we have a good turkey population so I'll trust the MNR knows how to manage it properly.

Great looking gobbler, and I love the MO Bottomland.

I have been lucky to find two that wanted to play in the last 3 days. Saturday the bird I killed acted as good as you can ask one to act and gobbled his head off. The one I killed yesterday didn't gobble as much but when I saw him before I ever called to him he was walking milling around and popping in and out of half strut. He gobbled once he got close. And strutted right in.
