Gobbler Nation

Been listening to this guy every morn for the past week, and thought I had him figgered out, but Nope, he's a turkey.
Being on public threw some crap into the mix. First a couple fellows walked right up to us as it was getting light.
Then some other guy came in from the south and went in too close to the bird and shut him up.
Finally started gobbling again bout an hour later, so we had to ditch our gameplan, and work up another.
She's a happy camper today.
22 lb, 10 1/4" rope, and 13/16th spurs. Yee haw, now I can hunt!

I let her be the Guinea Pig for my new 2 3/4", 1 3/8oz Hot Rod load. Guess I need to send them in for testing at the Lab, but the field test
Looks promising. Fairly long shot too. Just couldn't get him to commit suicide!

No. I bought her that Benelli M1 several years ago, but it did the CLICK while we were doing the early Wood Duck season.
She ain't touched it since!!! She was MAD!!!! Had a bunch of Woodies, and couldn't kill nothing.
Found her a cheap Charles Daly Youth 20 for $150 like new in a Pawn Shop. She has never been happier.
She watches too many shoot em up movies with all the people shooting pumps. She thinks that is Coool.
I can't complain. The little sucker shoots pretty dang good! Put a Carlsons flush .585 in it, and shoots with the Nelli pretty much.
She still has a soft spot for that little Double barrel though.
