Re: Who needs TSS?
tss is just bonus! it might be a crutch to some.. but most of my friends that use it already call them in close.. not needed, but wanted!

Re: Who needs TSS?
This year will be my first time hunting with TSS as well......nicely done. I have a question, and I've noticed this on a couple other close TSS kills. How come they still have heads!?
I've shot birds at 20yds with Hevi #6's that looked like I put their coconut through a meat grinder. LOL

Re: Who needs TSS?
You should have switched the TSS load out for Lead.. I'm sure he would have waited...

Re: Who needs TSS?
When they're that close and moving I'm aiming at feathers! I have missed birds and had to wing shoot them at close range because of trying headshots while they're walking. And ever since I've aimed at the base of the neck and they've dropped like a sack of potatoes.Matt / PA wrote:This year will be my first time hunting with TSS as well......nicely done. I have noticed this. First one I shot up close, I expected decapitation. It was bloody, but in tact. I think it is because the pellets are so small, but have tons of energy and do not deform, they just pass through cleanly.Matt / PA wrote:This year will be my first time hunting with TSS as well......nicely done.
