I will have to delete any comments to keep the thread clean. DO NOT TAKE PERSONAL

I need you to kill turkeys when you are at camp this year. Have fun. Good luck this season.

Re: GN Kill thread
Sorry about that. I get all fired up every time I look at the hooks on that bird of yours.
If it keeps snowing I may need my snowshoes when season opens here. We must have at least three feet out there now and It's still coming down. Nice breeze too.

It's not a big deal. Most guys post the story with pics & that would be a great place for comments/congrats.LeadSlinger wrote:Sorry about that. I get all fired up every time I look at the hooks on that bird of yours.

I heard Binghampton got about 3' or more. Ron has a camp in Norwich, about 35 miles nth of Binghampton & I think they got hammered as well. I live in OH about 70 miles nth of Columbus & we barely got 2" & most of that is gone but it's has been colder than a witch's hangy down thing .

I never killed one that hooked like that. They were only 1-3/8"

Re: GN Kill thread
Only 1 3/8's? You should to be ashamed of yourself for shooting a bird with spurs that short.
I'm only about 35 miles north of Norwich and I've got a buddy that has a camp south of there, in Bainbridge.
The snow is all my fault. We've had some unseasonably warm weather here lately and I've been expecting the turkeys to show back up here on the mountain any time now. I told my girlfriend about a week ago that if we didn't get a major storm, we had winter licked. I should know better than to say something like that.
