He's too humble to admit it, but our own Dave Owens is one heckuva turkey caller. In fact, he just took home the 3rd place trophy at the NWTF Convention! Hope y'all extend a warm "atta-boy" to Cove for a job well done. He should've won, in my opinion.

My friend Joe Slaton took 2nd place at the Gobbling competition, as well. Hard to imagine anyone beating TRKYHTR in this category. He's the best I have ever heard, including a lot of competition that wears feathers!

These two guys absolutely rock it, both on the stage and in the turkey woods. Congratulations to you both!!!

Congrat, Dave! Congrats again Joe! You maybe saying, it's not first but that is a ridiculous thing to even consider that. When you walked around Nashville this weekend with 1000's of Turkey Nuts in attendance and million's more at home all wanting to be the best turkey caller in the world. You are at the top of the mountain, that most don't even consider to climb. Congratulations to everyone that participated.
