The spring season starts May 1st and runs through the 31st here in NY.

YES. I remember chasin them Osceolas in march a few years ago. Quite nice.

Tennessee; April 1st thru May 14th.
Going to Florida March 18th.
Hunted Osceola's all my life in S. Florida until I retired and moved to Tennessee.

I knew some of you started early, but I'm surprised to see just how early. I'd have to use snowshoes to hunt turkeys here in March most years. Not that I wouldn't do it, lol. Thanks for all the replies and good luck to everybody. :thumbup:

April 11 in Arkansas, but I'll start about march 28 in Mississippi. I used to want to go to Miss at the beginning of the season, but that's almost always too early (might not be this year, though) and there's way too many hunters. I'd rather hunt fewer and smarter birds with less competition than hunt in a crowd. Way too many fools out there the first few days of the season.
